"It's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one."
Let's start with the definition and some historical details:
The satchel became a fashion accessory and was popular during the 17th century. A satchel is a bag, often with a strap. The strap is often worn so that it diagonally crosses the body, with the bag hanging on the opposite hip, rather than hanging directly down from the shoulder. They are commonly used for carrying books. Satchels are most often made of leather or cloth.
The main difference between a satchel and a briefcase is that a satchel is soft-sided. As well, satchels often have straps and briefcases never do.
There is some overlap between a satchel and some styles of messenger bag, however messenger bags come in a wider variety of materials and form factors, and messenger bags always have a strap.
I remember myself carrying one at the third grade in primary school. It was a really nice khaki leather bag, wishing to have it right now. But I don't! So, I am searching for a comfortable satchel bag for this autumn and winter. My problem this time is that I don't know what colour to pick. I think that colours like beige, camel, maroon, brown, green or grey this bag looks better, but it is really possible that I finally pick the classic black colour. Right now I am just looking around!
Finally, a fashionable piece that it is really comfortable!!!!
After a little online research here are some findings on the web.
Also, Christina (where the wild roses grow), has picked some satchel bags from gmarket. Read her post here.

Stylish moments on the beach......
After a full month of vacations by the sea, I am finally back to town! Of course, my first priority is to update my beloved blog, so here is a post with some stylish moments on the beach!
And for the record.....I haven't gone for shopping a whole month.....and I feel fine....even if I have read ALL the Greek fashion magazines for June, July, August and some for September (and not only Greek)....and even if I have seen on their pages fabulous clothes...I still feel fine! YES! Good company, a nice beach, colorful cocktails and dance from the dust till the dawn (or from the dawn till the dust!) is all you need!
PS: no the summer is not over! We officially have still two weeks. ;D
