Outfit: La broderie anglaise

Sunset is my favourite time of the day! One of my first memories of my life is a sunset in a particular place that used to take me for a walk when I was little. Sunset has a million colours that change from minute to minute as the sun goes down. And that is the magic! This is why almost every photo in this outfit post has different light!

Something else that I enjoy is to be photoshooted by different people. Everyone has a unique perspective of how to take a photo. Some of them are really artistic when others are truly into fashion and know how to take street style photos.

Many thanks to my friend Nasia for the photos!

Outfit: The weekender

When you cannot find the clothes you are dreaming for...you start design and make your own. This skirt is another one piece of my summer personal collection! It sounds so exclusive! haha

I am really into 50's style lately and all the ladylike style from that decade.

Also, I like my shirt from the fashion frog online boutique. Generally, I like shirts. But this one, with these cuts under the collar, goes the classic white shirt a little bit further!

PS: I am not nervous but the summer sun is pretty blinding for my eyes (and the photos too), even under the trees!

Designers: Katie Ermilio

As the granddaughter of Grace Kelly’s personal clothier, it’s easy to see a sense of history in Katie Ermilio’s clothes. From the iconic green jacket her grandfather designed for Augusta’s Masters Tournament, to the Eisenhower jacket he created for World War II, Katie’s legacy has inspired not only her love of fashion, but also the garments she creates, desigining clothes from the time she was 12, Katie continues to draw on the heritage that shapes her work.

At 26, a life-long education in textiles and tailoring acquired in her father’s custom clothing shop acquainted Katie with the principles of construction and fundamentals of design. Infusing each distinctly feminine piece with sharp tailoring and spft drape, her clothes embody the modern interpretation of timeless dress.

Following her love of fashion to New York City, Katie held internships in Vogue‘s Fashion & Features department before graduating to a position in public relations at Teen Vogue.

Today, Katie’s work has been featured on Teen Vogue‘s “Very” pages and in publications ranging from The Wall Street Joural to Lucky Magazine, WWD, Marie Claire and British Vogue, the NY Times style blog The Moment, Elle.com and Fashionista have each highlighted her collections and career in design.
