Blame it on the boogie and Eau de style @ Christina Kanataki tv show "Parte thesi" - TV100.

I was decided to make subtitles for all the videos from the tv show, but they need truly much time, something that is in lack in my life this time around. So, I  am sorry my international friends that you have asked for them.

But, I 'll try to say some words because I like this topic! We talked about knitting! It is a trend this time around. Everyone learns how to knit and believe me it is really relaxing. If you don't have a mum or a grandmother to show you how to, don't worry. You can easilly find tutorial videos on youtube, they will show you step by step everything. You should be patient - I am not (lol)- the first times are difficult, but from the moment you learn the basics and with practising you will be a pro soon! And don't stay to traditional things, scarf/ jumper/ gloves etc. Make more nice and unique things. Look below  for some inspiration!

Not to forget that this is the perfect holiday gift for our beloveds! 

PS: my personally favourite is the knitted pillows! Such a nice and easy idea!

One more time, Ada from Eau de Style blog and I were lucky to be hosted at Christina Kanatakis' tv show "Parte Thesi/ Take place" and talk about fashion (what else?). This time our topic was 'how street style photos are replacing magazines editorials about fashion and professional fashion photoshootings'. We had a nice chat, ok I may find it nice because I always enjoy to talk about fashion, but miss Kanataki is a person who knows about fashion, so it is like talking with my friends! Today I really like her jacket. So disco, so glamourous, so me! hehehehe

ps: As soon as I find time I will put subtitles in English to this video. Just be patient!!

Nikolas a|w 2011

Lately I have attended lot of fashion shows, a fact that makes me completely happy!!!! :D

Yesterday, 19 October 2011,  me and my beloved blogger friends attended NIKOLAS fashion show, who presented his collection for autumn | winter 2011, at Porto Palace Hotel Thessaloniki (GR).

A collection totally dedicated to femme fatale, with clothes inspired from the classic feminine italian style. With references to 50's style, Claudia Cardinalle, Sophia Lauren and Gina Lollobrigita are the first that cross our minds. Classic shapes but at the same time very sensual. Lace, silk, wool and velvet are dominant to the collection. In addition to italian style, a background  inspired from the italian country. 

At a first glance I though this is a collection that my mum would totally adore! But then I started to pay attention to details. The perfect defined waist drew my attention and at the same time relief prints, lace dresses, metalic fabrics and full skirts made me not be bored at all. Lovely detail the shoes and the bags from Zenya.

The domination of black colour and the lack of vivid colours are obvious, but at last, haven't you missed the classic feminine style?

I should mention that a part of the profits will be donated to "Melissa Orphanage". Fashion for a good cause! Like it :)

Also, a new tailor in town, Merkos Manolopoulos presented his menwear collection.
