My very first interview :)

I am really glad that on Tuesday I gave my first interview about the jewels I construct, and yesterday was published on www.in2life.gr. Everything took place in a really friendly and relaxed mood and this remove my anxiety for what I am going to answer. You know I am not used to that! This is my hobby and everything I do, I do it because the idea is in my head and I must get it out!!!! But, I think it feels nice to recognize your effort when you do something you really love.
You can read the interview as well as other interviews from people with the same passion on http://www.in2life.gr/indulgence/buy/articles/189893/article.aspx?apg=1

or if you are to lazy to click and you know greek I have it here for you. :)

I made a quick translation in english because we are an international blog :PP

Big, deep red hearts, adorable, colourfully sparrows, golden keys, girly bows and light butterflies. The jewels of Veronica, that began to deal with their manufacture six years ago in Thessaloniki, exude theatricality embellished with girlie elements. Metals as coper, bronze and alpax are combined with multicoloured beads, flimsy ribbons and unexpected objects, as old buttons, in order to create a imaginative result.

“I began completely accidentally, I wanted to make an earring for a concrete dress. I combined certain beads from old spoiled jewels and I understood that I like it. Later, I made some courses” it says, and supplements “I like more from all the materials the metals, because I can make what form I want by cutting them”. She draws inspiration for her drawings from everything: “I am many times inspired by the fashion. I can see something in a window and I want to make it for me, or to evolve the central idea. But also in my sleep, it has happened to me to see something and I want it to make in jewel. Other times simply guide are the materials that I have in front of me” she explains.

Veronica does not sell at the present moment her jewels. “I make for me and for my friends”, she says, “I do not believe that I have reached still a professional level”. In my evident objections it contrasts one innate perfectionism. She, nevertheless, believes that will always exist space for the hand made jewel in the Greek market. “The hand made jewels in general are economic - proportionally with the materials. I do not believe that lot of people have the possibility of buying golden and diamonds, therefore hand made jewel will gain continuously more ground. It depends of course always and from the price. I see very often expensive hand made jewels that do not deserve their money. I think “this costed you 50 cents, you cannot sell it 20 Euros”. How much do you cost the inspiration and your time? ”

Shopping tips: Even if Veronica has at the present moment not dealt by no means with the sales, if you want desperately something from the jewels of photograph, you will communicate her in the e-mail verotronik@gmail.com and something can become. After big pressure, she said to us that a pair from her earrings would oscillate in the 15 Euros. She supposes.

Special thanks to Villy<3>
